Responsibilities

    Compliance Matters

    • Develop trade surveillance policies and procedures for monitoring trading activities for any trading misconduct and money laundering suspicious transactions
    • Carry out daily review of trade surveillance exception reports, follow-up on exceptions noted and determine and recommend remedial or preventive actions
    • Review trade error reports and follow up on any irregularities noted
    • Escalate any breaches of regulatory requirements or misconduct or company policies
    • Conduct periodic review of company trade surveillance policies and procedures with the view to implement enhancements, if any to existing practices
    • Conduct investigation into any complaints or feedback received on any potential trading irregularities and any breaches of regulatory requirements noted during reviews or reports received on breaches
    • Develop compliance review programmes, Compliance workplans, self-assessment questionnaire and any other compliance programmes as may be required by Head of Department, front and back office, parent company, regulators and authorities
    • Liaise with relevant regulators, Head Office on any major findings and other compliance reporting requirements
    • Attend and participate in local management, regional and Board meetings
    • Review and process registration of trading representatives
    • Carry out awareness briefing and staff training on regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures
    • Assist Compliance Team to work on compliance tasks as may be required by Head of Department
    • Assist Head of Department / Compliance Team to carry out any compliance tasks or projects as and when necessary as directed by the Head of Department
    • Assist Head of Department and/or Compliance team in carrying out the advisory functions of the Department
    • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

    Legal Matters

    • To review / assist to review legal agreements and business contracts with financial institutions
    • To act as a legal coordinator on legal matters with external legal counsels including those from parent company in Taiwan
    • To provide legal advice and views on ad hoc legal matters.

Requirements

    • Degree holder in related field with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in corporate law and Securities, Derivatives & Futures markets
    • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Strong analytical and writing skills
    • Ability to work independently and interact with people at all levels
    • A strong team player who is confident, motivated, possesses initiative and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure

Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the institutional clients (eg. Hedge funds, financial institutions, family offices and EAMs etc.) throughout the South East Asia region.  

    • Responsible for business development and execution of sales strategies
    • Drive sales of exchange-traded and exchange-cleared OTC derivatives products to the targeted clients
    • Generate commissions from institutional client base 
    • Build new institutional business by onboarding new clients 
    • Manage and maintain relations with existing client portfolios
    • Increase existing institutional business by increasing share of client business 
    • Work on a team level to identify new opportunities within the target market
    • Develop and maintain internal relationships with other channels and functional teams to onboard new clients

Requirements

    • Degree holder in related discipline
    • Minimum 3 years experience in sales trading / dealing with institutional clients or institutional sales experience preferred
    • Must possess locally required licenses
    • Experience with major global exchanges (eg. SGX, HKEX, CME, ICE, LME etc.) needed
    • Self-motivated individual, with a commitment to excellence
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with clients
    • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organisation

Responsibilities

    • System design, application development, support and project management on back office systems and related modules
    • Back Office and Sun Accounting systems and related applications modules support
    • ETL Application design and development, system enhancement and trouble shooting
    • Project management, user and UAT support, migration and system deployment planning
    • Business analysis and user requirements gathering and documentation, re-engineering for continuous improvement in operations
    • Provide technical solution for new business initiatives
    • Daily and month-end batch jobs support
    • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned

Requirements

    • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent, at least 6 years relevant IT experience
    • Fundamental knowledge in financial instruments and market will be added advantage
    • Strong analysis skill in understanding business flow, trouble shooting and user requirement gathering
    • Good track of application development and implementation record
    • Proficient application development skills in MS .Net C#, MS SQL database, Database Development, FIX protocol /Java / Oracle and XML
    • Team player and with good communication skills

Responsibilities

    • Provide front office trading systems support in securities, futures and foreign exchange on shift rotation (Platform training will be provided)
    • Manage servers environment (Wintel and Linux), corporate network (LAN, WAN, MAN, VoIP) and office structure cabling
    • Perform feasibility studies and consolidate streamlines with team to determine future planning, latest technology trend, implementation and cost optimization
    • Manage and prepare IT requirements, proposals and procurements process for IT infrastructure
    • Define improvements and increased system reliability, security and performance
    • Manage services and vendor outsourcing in the aspects of IT infrastructure
    • Available to standby and provide 24x7 IT infrastructure support
    • Ensure IT infrastructure setup adhere to regulatory and audit guidelines
    • Acts as the IT infrastructure liaison in providing critical operational insight to upcoming business requirements, implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability
    • Manage and oversee annual internal / external audit exercises and follow-up on rectification
    • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Requirements

    • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
    • At least 3 years relevant and strong technical experience in IT infrastructure technology areas
    • Extensive experience MS Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Cisco network, VMware etc.
    • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal across different levels of management and users, customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

    · Perform, maintain and balance daily / monthly bank reconciliation of various banks

    · Prepare daily cash flow, in both SGD and foreign currencies

    · Maintain banking relationships and liaise for term deposit / short-term loans / Board Resolution matters

    · Book-keeping in daily / weekly / monthly transaction entries and assist in month-end closing process

    · Preparation of various schedules for timely month end closing of accounts in compliance with FRS, SFR, SGX and MAS rules and regulations

    · Preparations of reports for further analysis

    · Any other ad-hoc accounting task assigned

Requirements

    · Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree preferably in Accountancy or equivalent

    · At least 2-3 years of relevant experience

    · A team player, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure

    · Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

    · Support HR department in implementing and monitoring of all HR policies to ensure relevance and compliance

    · Responsible for recruitment and selection for junior to middle level positions, and subsequent activities relating to on-boarding and off-boarding, including application/renewal/cancellation of work passes and/or other passes, as well as HR system and personal file management

    · Performing the full spectrum of payroll and its related activities e.g. income tax returns, CPF, government make up claims

    · Provide support on the annual review exercises including staff planning budget, appraisal, salary review exercises etc.

    · Assisting and responsible with all training and development initiatives including training needs analysis, reviewing of courses, training vendors, processing of training funding etc.

    · Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives to support the business unit's growth

    · Provide day-to-day HR guidance to employees

    · Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned

Requirements

    · Degree holder in Human Resources or related disciplines

    · Minimum of 3-5 years' of HR generalist experience in financial industry is preferred

    · Knowledge of CEP/CPD training requirements would be an advantage

    · In-house payroll processing experience (full cycle including the tax returns)

    · Resourceful, meticulous, good team player with a positive mindset

    · Have strong analytical and organization skills

    · Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

    · Ability to multi-task with a keen eye for detail

    · Proficient in MS Office application especially MS Excel and knowledge in TimeSoft is advantageous
