1. What is KTrader?
KTrader is a trading platform designed from the ground up aim to provide a more powerful trading experience. The outcome is a culmination of the feedback we have received over the years and our aim of optimizing customer experience. With high performance and a full suite of features, KTrader offers a faster, clearer and smarter way to trade via your web browser, giving you an edge over investment opportunity.
The new look comes with a brand new user interface and a host of enhanced ease-of-use features for quick access to the markets.

• Managing unsettled transaction: Helps clients track their holdings that are due for settlement in a simple and uncluttered layout.
• Managing orders: Provide visibilities on orders submitted by your dealers
2. Can I access both Connex and KTrader at the same time?
No, you will only able to access to one platform at a time. Please note that the KGI Connexv2 online trading platform has been discontinued since 1st June 2019 and all existing customer trading accounts and portfollio have been migrated to KTrader.
3. When will I be able to access KTrader?
KTrader login details will be sent to your email address in our records from 18 May 2019 onwards. You can log in to KTrader to preview the platform's functionality before it officially goes live on 3rd June 2019. You may start placing orders via KTrader from 3rd June 2019 onwards.
4. Do I use the same Login ID and Password as Connex?
No, you will be provided with a new Login ID through your registered email address. To ensure that you receive the login credentials and password, a valid email address and mobile number need to be present in our record. If you have not provided them before or you have updated them recently, please complete the relevant sections in the “Update of Particulars form” at http://www.kgieworld.sg/securities/forms-download and mail it to the following address:

5. What happens to my previous trade history, holdings and GTD orders in Connex?
All your trades history and holdings will be migrated to KTrader. Kindly refrain from entering any GTD orders with validity beyond 31 May 2019 in Connex as it will not be ported over to KTrader.
6. Can I use KTrader on my mobile device?
Yes, KGI KTrader Mobile App is available for iOS and Android devices.

7. Can I view my e-Statements via KGI KTrader?
Yes, you can access your e-Statements via KGI KTrader with the E-STATEMENT function.
8. What are the benefits of e-Statements?
- Instant access – anytime, anywhere.
- Stay free of paper clutter.
- Up to 12 months of backup – look up past transactions for up to 12 months.
- Securely stored – your statements will always be kept safe while still being easily accessible.
9. How do I enrol for e-Statements?
Email us at [email protected] to enrol for e-Statements.
Once you have enrolled to receive e-Statements, KGI will no longer mail physical statements to you. Enjoy convenient access to your e-Statements either by logging in to your KTrader account or via your registered email.
10. Will I still receive my paper statements if I am enrolled for e-Statements?
No, you will no longer receive any paper statements if you are enrolled for e-Statements.
11. How far back in time can I view my e-Statements?
You will be able to access your statements for up to the past 12 months.
12. How can I update my email address and mobile number?
To update your email address and other personal particular following the instructions below for the Update of Particulars form.
i. Go to https://www.kgieworld.sg/securities/forms-download
iv. Click on Update of Particulars form to download the relevant form(s).

13. Can I choose to still receive paper statements for my account(s)?
If you wish to still receive paper statements, kindly check the box “Opt-out E-statement” in the Update Particulars form.
14. How can I use biometrics login for the KTrader App?
After installing the KTrader App and upon your first successful login, you will be prompted to activate your biometrics [Touch ID / Face ID (iOS only)].
15. How do I login using my biometrics?
After successfully registering your biometrics, simply click on the biometric logo in the login page for biometric authentication.
16. What happens if I accidentally clicked the ‘Skip’ button when prompted for the biometrics login activation, but wanted to turn it on?
Simply re-login, enter your credentials and check the Touch ID option before logging in.
17. How do I disable my Touch ID?
Simply go to the app settings to remove your Touch ID.
18. How many KTrader accounts can I have my Touch ID on a single device?
Only one account is enabled for Touch ID on a device.
19. How many devices can I use my Touch ID on?
One account can have Touch ID activated on multiple devices.
20. What happens if I sell/transfer my device to another party?
You can either reset the device to factory mode, delete the cache or uninstall the app – this will disable the Touch ID.
21. What happens if my device is stolen?
You can send in a request to our Support Team to deregister your biometric device upon verification.
22. What is Orders and Trades Notification?
It is a complimentary service by KGI to notify clients if there are any activities that are done on client orders.
23. How do I receive the Orders and Trades Notification?
Install the KTrader App on your phone (available for Android and iOS). Upon launching the app, click on ‘Allow’ when prompted to allow push notifications on the device. You will start receiving notifications following your first successful login.
24. How do I disable the Orders and Trades Notification?
You can disable it in your device’s application notification setting. Search for the KTrader app within the settings page and disable notifications.
