KGI CLIENT PORTAL – Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the KGI Client Portal?
The client portal is a platform where clients can view their statements and execute important tasks relevant to the clients' account such as fund withdrawal, fund transfer from one account to another and many more.
We will be migrating all our clients over to the new client portal in batches. No action is required from you until you receive a notification from us via e-mail or your account manager to do so.
2. Will there be any changes to my trading account(s)?
No, there will not be any changes to your trading account(s).
3. How do I log in to the KGI Client Portal?
Kindly refer to the Set-up Guide that has been e-mailed to you at the e-mail address linked to your trading account(s).
If you have not received any communication from us with instructions on how to set up your account, your trading account is not due for migration yet. You may speak to your account manager to find out more.
4. I did not receive any first time log-in details, where can I get them?
We are migrating all clients to the client portal by batches. You will receive a welcome email soon.
Kindly ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number linked to your trading account(s) are up-to-date.
5. What are the supported Internet browsers for the KGI Client Portal?
You may access the KGI Client Portal with any Internet browser of your choice.
6. Is there a mobile app for the KGI Client Portal?
No, the KGI Client Portal can only be accessed from desktop browsers at the moment.
7. Can I opt out of the client portal?
No. KGI (Singapore) is phasing out physical statements and enhancing clients’ account security by adopting Two Factor Authentication (2FA).
This is to follow the industry standard for a secured log-in.
8. What are the different user roles assigned for a Corporate account?
Administrator:
● Only ONE (1) Administrator per company.
● Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is required to access client portal.
● Create / Remove / Edit all users' access profiles.
● Submit fund withdrawals and transfer.
● View e-Statement(s) across multiple trading accounts.
Approver:
● Up to FIVE (5) Approvers allowed per company.
● Authorized to approve Administrator's fund withdrawals, transfers and/or update of particulars with 2FA.
● For accounts with 1-2 Approver(s): Need either Approver to approve.
● For accounts with 3-5 Approver(s): Need at least two (2) of the Approvers to approve.
● Approver(s) will not have access to client portal.
● Approver(s) will receive: (i) OTP via e-mail AND (ii) a SMS link to input OTP.
View-Only Access:
● Up to FIVE (5) View-only Access per company.
● View e-Statement(s) across multiple trading accounts.
● 2FA is required to access client portal.
9. How do I reset my portal login password?
Click on “Forgot User ID or Password” and follow the instructions to reset your login details.
