    As part of KGI Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.'s ambitious growth plans in the wealth management business, we are looking for individuals to join the team as Wealth Adviser.

    As a Wealth Adviser, you will be expected to provide comprehensive, one-stop financial advisory services to KGI clients through our wealth management products. The successful Wealth Adviser will be expected to play a critical role in expanding the Company's onshore base through the acquisition of new clients and the development of existing securities’ clients. As part of wealth planning process, you will be engaging clients for relationship management, financial needs analysis, fact-finding and policies review.

    To help you succeed in your role and develop your financial planning and advisory skills, you will be guided and trained by in-house product specialists and external partners. There will be on-the-job training and a Team Lead assigned to guide and coach you.

Requirements

    • At least 21 years old (MAS regulatory requirement)
    • "A" levels / Diploma / Degree holder
    • Entry-level candidates
    • Existing CMFAS qualifications (BCP, HI, M5, M9, M9A) or Prior experience in financial advisory sales will be an advantage

Responsibilities

    • System design, application development, support and project management on back office systems and related modules
    • Back Office and Sun Accounting systems and related applications modules support
    • ETL Application design and development, system enhancement and trouble shooting
    • Project management, user and UAT support, migration and system deployment planning
    • Business analysis and user requirements gathering and documentation, re-engineering for continuous improvement in operations
    • Provide technical solution for new business initiatives
    • Daily and month-end batch jobs support
    • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned

Requirements

    • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent, at least 6 years relevant IT experience
    • Fundamental knowledge in financial instruments and market will be added advantage
    • Strong analysis skill in understanding business flow, trouble shooting and user requirement gathering
    • Good track of application development and implementation record
    • Proficient application development skills in MS .Net C#, MS SQL database, Database Development, FIX protocol /Java / Oracle and XML
    • Team player and with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

    • Provide front office trading systems support in securities, futures and foreign exchange on shift rotation (Platform training will be provided)
    • Manage servers environment (Wintel and Linux), corporate network (LAN, WAN, MAN, VoIP) and office structure cabling
    • Perform feasibility studies and consolidate streamlines with team to determine future planning, latest technology trend, implementation and cost optimization
    • Manage and prepare IT requirements, proposals and procurements process for IT infrastructure
    • Define improvements and increased system reliability, security and performance
    • Manage services and vendor outsourcing in the aspects of IT infrastructure
    • Available to standby and provide 24x7 IT infrastructure support
    • Ensure IT infrastructure setup adhere to regulatory and audit guidelines
    • Acts as the IT infrastructure liaison in providing critical operational insight to upcoming business requirements, implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability
    • Manage and oversee annual internal / external audit exercises and follow-up on rectification
    • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Requirements

    • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
    • At least 3 years relevant and strong technical experience in IT infrastructure technology areas
    • Extensive experience MS Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Cisco network, VMware etc.
    • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal across different levels of management and users, customers and vendors

Responsibilities

    • Work on interpreting economic and market trends and recommend trading and investment strategies to clients on a weekly basis
    • Assist in developing financial models for forecasting and undertake financial statement analysis
    • Prepare equity research reports that are backed up by industry and company-specific data, as well as insights from industry experts and company management
    • Keeping abreast with market developments, e.g. new investment ideas etc, that can affect markets across different asset classes
    • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned

Requirements

    • Degree holder in related discipline (preferably Accountancy or Finance major)
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
    • Team player, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
    • Ability to interact/communicate with internal/external clients with good presentation skills
    • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
    • Minimum 1-3 years experience in equity analysis and/or some audit working experience
    • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, Bloomberg and Reuters
